Welcome to my Web Design Blog
Firstly, I'd like to welcome you to my website and to my very first blog post. I've spent a while designing and redesigning (and redesigning... You get the picture, right?) this website over the last couple of months and I am finally happy with the result. I decided to redesign my site for a number of reasons, the first and main of which was to enable me to display as many of my key skills as possible - design of the front-end, development of the bespoke CMS (Content Management System) it is powered by, and everything in between. The second was to give me a good platform to build my portfolio on.
Why blog, Ben?Well, blogging is a great way to express opinions and to network with others, hence my decision to have my own. I think it's important to express your opinions, and if you have a tip or trick, to share with others - it makes for a more efficient, more useable Internet. I intend this blog to be mostly industry related, but may also throw a few rants in here and there. I encourage comments and feedback so please feel free to tell me what you think.
